With reference to the requirements of Ministry of Industrial and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China, the file "ITD (2023) No. 794", customers who have applied chinese signature prefix need to provide director's China or Hong Kong Identity Card copy and mobile number for real-name registration. Please send such files to customer service email cs@meteorsis.com before 2024-08-20. Any users who cannot provide the above documents before deadline, their chinese SMS will be blocked (not charged), thank for your attention.
The Office of the Communications Authority (OFCA) has opened the "SMS Sender Registration Scheme" to all sectors on Feb 21, 2024 (Wednesday). We can help you to send out such type of SMS. However, you are reminded that this scheme is not a mandatory policy and you may still to send out SMS using SenderID without prefix "#". Steps are as below:
- Firstly, you have to register SenderID with prefix "#" through OFCA and get the approval from them.
- After the success of your application, you have to prepare Letter of Authorisation to Meteors Information Systems Limited. We will pass this document to our Registered SMS Service Providers (RSSP) partners and send a copy to you by email.
- We wait for the technical adjustments from RSSP, then you may start to send out such SMS using SenderID with prefix "#".
